From September 1, 2025, Laos has moved from paper forms to a new Digital Immigration Card. Travellers can now fill out their details online up to three days before arrival or departure and get a QR code to show at immigration. The system is already live at major airports and border checkpoints and will expand nationwide in 2026, making entry faster and easier. Indonesia has introduced the All Indonesia Digital Arrival Card, replacing separate health, customs, and immigration forms with one simple online process. From September 1, 2025, travellers can register before their trip and receive a QR code for arrival.
